- Hi, my name is Kathy Wirkula. I'm 53 years old and a wife, mom and grandma. I am a breast cancer survivor and now I was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I have been sick for the last few weeks and my stomach has been terrible, bloating and lots of pressure and pain. I went to the doctor and I have a tumor on my ovary and it's causing fluid to fill my abdomen. Laying down is the only relief I get and I really haven't felt this bad in a long time. I'm not working right now, and I also have to travel to Green Bay multiple times to see a specialist. I have to have surgery and chemotherapy so I won't be able to work for a while.
