The Hero Empowerment Center project is a micro city arts based facility for youth and families designed to use the arts to change social and economic conditions in the city of Memphis and surrounding areas.

As a not for profit organization in the city of Memphis, for 14 years Heal the Hood Foundation has become a leader in using the arts to get youth out of dead end involvements while attracting major celebrities such as Robert Townsend, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Master P,  Michael Jai White and many more.

Serving over 480,000 youth in Memphis and surrounding areas, HTH realized that the lack of youth opportunities and progressive arts and entertainment facilities have left huge voids in the city that contribute to high levels of youth crime and violence. With low social and economic hurdles, youth crime and violence in neighborhoods have increased by 350%. We believe that if we fill those voids and make opportunities available we can decrease youth crime and violence as we target the entire family.

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Please find out more bout this project at www.hecmemphis.org
