“A woman’s place is… wherever she decides. We’ve decided it’s time for our own.”

In the heritage town of Trim, over 400 women have come together to do something extraordinary: build a community, from the ground up. We are The Women’s Shed — a space for friendship, learning, laughter, and sometimes, just a cup of tea and a chat.

We’ve held workshops and wellness days. We’ve danced, sang, gardened, grieved, created, and connected. We’ve opened our arms to women from every walk of life — all ages, all backgrounds, all stories.

What we don't have is a permanent place to call our own.

We’re currently renting rooms and sharing spaces. But our dream is simple and strong: to buy or lease a building in Trim where our community can grow, thrive, and belong.

Why It Matters:

A permanent Shed means year-round workshops, support groups, and activities for women across the town and surrounding areas.

It means safety, routine, and connection — especially for isolated, older, or vulnerable women.

It means accessibility, storage, and stability — no more carrying craft supplies and kettles in the rain and dark.

It means legacy — something we can build for future generations of Trim women.
