Yesterday morning a vet tech from Tampa called my cell phone and was desperately trying to find help for a young puppy who had impaled herself on a metal rod that went into her mouth down her throat and into her stomach. She had surgery to remove the rod however she has developed additional problems and needs emergency surgery.
