Mr. Bolivar resides in the U.S. alone, as a refugee, leaving his family and greatest support system back home in Venezuela. His strong work ethic is driven by his family, whom he supports financially. However, Juan's greatest concern is being unable to continue supporting his family, and this prevents him from pursuing treatment as his ability to work full-time will be affected. Due to lack of emotional support and financial strain, Juan was considering returning back home and not pursuing curative treatment altogether- one of his last available treatment options. After much thought, he has decided to stay in the U.S. and pursue treatment. His oncology team would like to provide support to Mr. Bolivar during this time; We are hopeful, that with your help, he will reach his goal not only with our emotional support but financially as well.
