YWAM Mission Trip

I am headed on a life-changing adventure!
I’ve been on many mission trips in my life and each left a lasting impact on my heart and my Faith in God. They opened my eyes to the needs of people around me both locally and in foreign countries. It helped me realize that there is more to life than serving myself. I recently got back from a week-long summer camp held by Christ Church of The Valley in San Diego, the last in my High School career. The messages that were told really pulled me to jump out with my faith and use my gifts and talents to be a blessing to people in need and grow deeper in my faith. I have been unsure about what direction I needed to go in my life after High School. I know I have had a lot of people praying for me and God has been really tugging at my heart. God has given me a passion for construction and building. It's something I got specialized training and certificates in, winning awards in school for my abilities. I had the opportunity to go to Mexico and build a home for a family in need with my Dad. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I loved serving the family and community there. It opened my eyes to the poverty and needs of people in neighboring Countries and helped me realized how blessed I am.
Before I left for camp my mom told me about YWAM which stands for Youth With A Mission. It gives youth opportunities to grow in their faith and serve people and communities all over the world. I was accepted into several different schools including ones in Europe, New Zealand, and Hawaii, however, there was the one I felt pulled to. The school is called Pathfinder in Brisbane, Australia and it's about finding the path God has for you and using your gifts and talents to be a blessing to others. The more I learned about the school the more it fit what I felt God tugging at my heart. The first 3 months would be our training and school portion where I will grow deeper in my Faith in the wilderness of Australia, backpacking and learning to serve people in remote areas and love like Jesus and continue in my training to serve like Jesus. The last 3 months we head to a location in Asia to use the skills that we learned to provide needs to an underprivileged community. I would love for you to help be a part of ministering to not only myself but to those, I get to go out and serve.
In every way, fear and distraction have been coming at me and I was finding every reason why I shouldn't go and was feeling stifled in my growth and walk with God. The week at CCV Camp this summer in San Diego lit my Faith on fire and I felt confident that this was the opportunity He wanted me to take and to put my trust and future in His hands. One of the biggest things that overwhelmed me about going was the cost. It really scared me and I feared I wouldn't be able to raise enough money to go. But again God pulled at my heart at camp and asked me to trust that He would provide the way for me to go and I’m wanting to give it my everything to be closer to Him and serve people in the areas of my life where He has gifted me.
I am looking forward to seeing how God directs my path through this experience and seeing what comes next in my life. I am really thankful I found this opportunity and I feel confident that this is the perfect foundation for my future moving forward into God's plan for my life and how He wants to use me.
I would feel honored if you would consider prayerfully and financially supporting me. I have a very short amount of time to raise a great amount of Mission funds. My mission begins in August 2019 and I will be gone for 6mo or more depending on where God leads me after the 1st 6mo.
The bulk of my financial support comes through donations from people like yourself. In addition, I would feel honored to serve you through other ways I may be able to help.
