House Fire Victim

Donation protected
I'm raising the money to help my sister and her family get back on their feet. Their home caught fire and they are now left with NOTHING but the clothes on their backs. They have a 5 year old granddaughter who lives with them who also lost all of her prized belongings. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated anything will help no matter how small. Please read the following story to better understand their dire circumstances.

Today December 7th, 2018 at 8:30 a.m their house caught on fire. Papa (Jasper Carter) was woke up with his bed and foot on fire! He jumped up and tried to put the fire out with water and he was unsuccessful. He tried to pull the burning bed out of the sliding door while being burned. The mattress  was stuck so he ran around the house and headed back inside and was able to push it out of the house.

Everything around him was burning he couldn't  breathe or see. The air was so black and thick. He ended up passing out and hit his head on their coffee. He said that while he was laying on the ground he had the strangest feeling of calmness and peace but he knew everything  surrounding him was being engulfed into flames. He said that he wasn't ready to die and shook  it off and took a deep breath and started to crawl through the house not knowing which direction to go. He ended up in the kitchen touching around him because he couldn't tell where he was at. He seen a glimpse of light and started for it on his knees. Once he was out of the house he made sure that their other family members  were out.

Their dog Tyson was trapped in the back room screaming for help! Tyson is just like one of their children. He's  a part of their family. He's  their protector! So he ran back inside the house knowing the possible dangers and knowing that he could lose his life trying to save their dog Tyson! He was able to retrieve their dog and made it out of their home.
