Help Liz Heal

What should have been a day of celebration turned into any family's nightmare. As Liz left work on September 21 to enjoy her 25th anniversary with her husband, she was in a horrific head on collision coming home from work. She was in an area where the speed limit is 65 in Golden Valley and was hit by a truck going the wrong way. While the other driver suffered minor injuries. Liz was flown by helicopter to Sunrise Trauma Center. She has over 25 broken bones, including her ankle, femur, patella, hips, pelvic and ribs as well as severe internal damage and bleeding. She has underwent 3 surgeries and has at least 8 more to go. Thanks to so many prayers, an amazing medical team and support she has remained critical but stable. SHE IS A FIGHTER!!

Our first goal was for her to make it to Vegas and she has done even better as she was able to respond to stimuli, does no show any signs of brain or spinal injury and appears to be able to recognize voices, even in phone calls.

Liz carried the insurance as well as a large portion of the family income. She will be rolling over to COBRA insurance at a cost of over $1000 per month, as well as a loss in income for at least the next year while Liz heals and gains strength.

Any money donated will be used to assist the family with monthly bills, gas to and from Vegas to be with Liz, groceries and medical bills.
