Hi my name is McKenna and in April I decided to get my 9 year old daughter, Lila, a beagle. His name is Jack and he is the sweetest, funniest dog I’ve ever owned. He instantly became part of our family and brings so much happiness into our lives. He is almost 8 months and was still in the process of being trained when he escaped from our yard and got hit by a car. We are so happy he is alive but unfortunately he has a left femur fracture. We rushed him to a vet hospital and was quoted $2400 just to keep him over night so they can monitor him and run tests. We were told his surgery can be up to $9000. I am actively seeking a vet with lower estimates for surgery but because I was laid off due to COVID the medical expenses are overwhelming at this time and it breaks my heart I do not have all the funds to cover it all.
