I’m writing to share the story of my eldest sister, Fidaa, from Gaza. She is a mother of four children. One year ago, she lost her home during the war in Gaza. Not long after, she had to travel to Cairo for urgent medical treatment due to a severe injury caused by the conflict.

Fidaa also suffers from a chronic colon disease that causes frequent and heavy bleeding. As a result, her health has significantly deteriorated — she now weighs only 44 kilograms due to continuous blood loss.

Currently, she is living in extremely difficult conditions in Cairo, struggling to provide even the most basic needs for herself and her children. They lack food, warmth, and security.
