Gary Tull's Leukemia Treatment
Donation protected
As most of you know, our brother-in-law, Gary Tull was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) last March 2018. What we thought was possibly heart issues, etc., after many tests, we were devastated to find out he had Leukemia.
He immediately started extensive chemo treatments in the hospital and was there for well over a month, then thereafter many trips into Fort Worth for follow up treatments as planned. In September of 2018, he got the wonderful news that his Leukemia was in remission! Praise the Lord for he is the great divine healer!
Since then, they have to travel every month into Fort Worth for lab work as the plan is to monitor his blood levels monthly to ensure it stays in remission.
During his January 2019 lab work, his levels were beginning to come down some and he had to make several trips back in for rechecks. The doctor was concerned so a scheduled Bone Marrow test came last week. The results reflected his Leukemia has returned. We are all saddened by this news. We don’t understand but we know God is in control and we have to put our trust in HIM.
Psalms 46:10 Be Still and know that I am GOD! This is their verse as most of you know. We have to stop and be still, listen to GOD and let him lead. We want to move that mountain, but GOD wants us to climb it again. I’ve told my wonderful sister, we climbed it last year, now we’ll climb it again together! We know that GOD is greater than any physician here on earth! Only GOD knows the plan for all our lives.
He will begin Chemo pills and shots daily for 2 months straight, then we pray that puts it in remission for preparation of Bone Marrow transplant. There’s a long, hard road ahead with many trips into Fort Worth.
We all know how expensive things can be. They travel into Fort Worth from Graham constantly. Our family and friends here and far have asked me, how can we help them? Lift Gary up daily in your prayers and lift Melinda , LeeAnn and family up, asking God to move a mighty way in their lives. Give them strength and calm their hearts through all this.
Gary is pastor of Country Road Fellowship in Graham, Texas, alongside with Melinda leading the women of this great church that God has truly blessed! They have an outstanding and loving church family that stands behind them and serves wherever is needed.
If you would like to help them in any way you feel, you can go through this and they will receive your gift directly to them.
Thank you All!
