This is Our Mom, Carol. She has recently Been Diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. This Woman has already Endured so Much, as this is Now her 3rd Separate Cancer DX within 18 Years. From Cervical to Breast and Now to Colorectal She has never let that stop her. Currently Retired and on Social Security Disability with a Fixed income This Diagnosis hits Hard. She currently has a Medicare Replacement Plan but the Copays and Coinsurances are high. She starts Chemo and Radiation in a week which will consist of 5 Appointments a week for Roughly 6 Weeks. These Appointments are mainly Covered by Insurance but she Is still Subject to Copays for Each Appointment and Date of Service.

 

Roughly Each Chemo Infusion Appointment will Cost $60.00 Each Regular Office Visit is $35.00 and we still do not know how Much the Radiation Appointments will Cost her Out of Pocket. . These Copays add up Quick and While we are doing our best to help cover the cost of those, we also have to cover her transportation and other associated expenses that come along with her Diagnosis. This is our Mom and we would all Do anything for more time with her. Just as anyone would for there Mom, Dad or Family Member.
