Help cover emergency medical expenses

Hi, my name is Val. I have a lower spinal injury and a chronic illness called myalgic encephalomyelitis. I currently live on disability leave benefits through my employer, which barely cover my day to day expenses (rent, utilities, groceries etc.)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have an unexpected emergency medical expense for early October. This medical expense is not fully covered by our Canadian healthcare system or my private insurance. Because I am disabled, I cannot apply for a loan or a credit card as I don’t meet the minimum income requirements. I don’t have a way to pay for this emergency expense.
