Hello Everyone, Sintayehu Chekol is a famous politician and activist who was convicted and sentenced many times in Ethiopia’s Government different prisons. He has spent four of the past six years in prison, since Prime minister Abiy Ahmed coming to power. After postponing his appeal numerous times, the Ethiopian Federal Supreme Court upheld Sintayehu’s conviction and sentencing. After being repeatedly tortured and imprisoned by the Ethiopian government, Sintayehu left his beloved children and wife behind and fled the country. He is facing great hardship in exile Now.

Therefore, we have opened this Go Fund Me to help Sinatyehu Chekol and his family in need.
