Hi I'm Chrissie. I set my company up in 2020 to support vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex mental health needs. I paid for a mentor to help me set up and unfortunately found out this person was a fraud and £10,000 had gone to complete waste. But I was so invested by then and decided to find out everything myself. It was a hard road, my mental health was affected and so was my family, as I was never home and when I was home, I was still glued to my laptop or phone working. After almost havung to liquidising the company, I finally got my first client in. The following 2yrs were emotionally and physically draining. There were times I couldn't cope and wanted to give up, but I had put too much into it to walk away with nothing. So I continued. After 3 applications I finally became CQC registered on 18th September 2023. This has opened more doors for me to be able to support those that really need it. However the issue I'm now facing is trying to get clients in before I run out of funds. I have not made any profits and everything I had, has been put into my business. I am asking for support to see me over the Christmas period until I can get new clients. I feel I have come way too far to close the door now and I'm desperate to keep my business alive so I can live my dream and help others. Can you help me please?
