- Hello my name is Ruby. i’ve been out of work since May 14th due to being diagnosed with diverticulitis which ended up with me being hospitalized for weeks which was followed by another week long hospital visit shortly after. Had my colonoscopy where a large polyp was found and biopsy came back as cancerous. On the 5th of October i had a persistent fever so i came to Valley Baptist ER. They ran multiple test and an ct scan and that scan showed a 12cm abscess sitting on my abdominal wall to which they had to do a procedure to drain but a surgical oncologist took over my case and found i had a tumor inside of my colon and it was damaging my abdominal wall. Had a massive surgery of a partial colectomy and an abdominal wall reconstruction. If anyone could help out i’d really appreciate it and for those who cannot help I understand. I just ask for your continued prayers as I navigate through this difficult journey of mine.
