Hi, my name is Shekinah, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging moments our family has ever faced.
My mom, Shirley Alivio, 67, recently suffered a serious fall and is now confined at Parañaque Doctors Hospital - Philippines. She sustained a severe hip and leg bone fracture that requires urgent surgery with a bipolar cementless hip implant. At the moment, she is unable to walk, and every day without proper treatment increases the risk of further complications.
The ₱125,000 (about €2,250) covers the cost of the hip implant material only. Additional costs for hospital stay, medications, and doctor’s fees will be separate.
I am currently in Germany to donate my kidney to my sister, who is in late-stage kidney failure, with the transplant scheduled for November 3, if all goes smoothly. While I am grateful to give her a chance at a healthier life, our immediate focus is my mom’s urgent surgery.
All funds raised will go directly to my mom’s medical expenses in the Philippines, including: Surgery for hip and leg damage (implant, hospital stay, medications, and therapy)
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving my mom the chance to walk again. If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity. Your support gives us hope and strength during this critical time.
