Save My Unborn child - Gaza
Donation protected
My name is Sam, and I reside in the state of Texas. I am initiating a GoFundMe campaign for my cousin, who is eight months pregnant and currently stuck in the Gaza Strip. Our aim is to help her escape the ongoing genocide and ensure the safety of both her and her unborn child
Message from the excepting mom: " I am Rawand Mansour, an engineer, currently in Rafah Refugee Camp – Gaza Strip. In August of last year, I married the love of my life, Mohammed. I specialize in computer programming, while my husband is dedicated to the realm of solar energy. Tragically, the cruel realities of war and the scarcity of resources have forced us to abandon our work and home in Gaza. Now, as I carry our first child, eight months pregnant, fear consumes me at the thought of giving birth in such a volatile environment. A time that should be filled with joy and excitement with the impending arrival of our first child, is anything but that. The prospects for our unborn child's well-being are bleak amidst the chaos and deprivation. The fact is, there are no resources; no medications if any complications arise in my pregnancy or delivery or with the baby, no formula if I cannot feed the baby myself, no diapers… the list goes on. My deepest desire is to flee this place, to ensure a safe and ordinary birth for our baby, and for my husband and me to find refuge from the incessant terrors of conflict. We long for nothing more than to rebuild our shattered lives in a land untouched by war; where we can once again pursue our professions and dream of a future for our young family free from the ravages of war.
Escaping the looming threat of death has tragically become an exorbitantly expensive endeavor.
