Estelle Rose Leukemia Fund
Spende geschützt
On September 17th, 2015, Jack and Rachel received news that no parents want to hear. At the time, their 14-month-old daughter, Estelle, was diagnosed with Very High Risk Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, Type B (VHR ALL-B) with a rare MLL genetic mutation in her leukemia cells. Estelle has been receiving various forms of intensive chemotherapy, steroids and other medications since her diagnosis, each treatment being very costly. Many of Estelle's treatments require hospital stays. As the treatments have increased, there have been many unplanned trips to the hospital due to her weakened immune system, including side-effects of her treatments, fevers and infections.
Jack and Rachel are not the type of people to ask for help, but just within the last 4 months, the medical bills have been adding up. The journey has just begun and the treatments are expected to last another 2 1/2 years. I am starting this fund to help ease even a fraction of the financial burden that comes along with this terrible cancer. Though these past few months have been some of the most difficult months our families have endured, Estelle has made us smile everyday with every "Hi!". No matter what she has been enduring on a daily basis, she still manages a smile everyday. Any donations you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!
