Support Renee and Ash After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
My name is Tara Yodice and I’m Renee’s best friend. The last several months I’ve been watching her and her wife go through financial hardships due to Ash’s motor vehicle accident. I’m organizing this fundraiser in hopes of taking some of the financial burden off of their shoulders during this very difficult time.
Newlyweds, Renee and Ashley Allegra, were in the middle of fertility treatments, when on May 2nd everything changed. Ash’s vehicle was struck HEAD ON by a tractor trailer driven by an uninsured reckless driver.
As a result of this tragic event, Ash has suffered catastrophic injuries. Last week, she underwent her first of many surgeries. The surgeon thought she would need a 3 disc replacement in her cervical spine; however, upon opening her up he discovered severe ligament damage and complete disc rupture, realizing the disc replacement was no longer an option. Hence, a 3 level spinal fusion was performed. These past 7 months were supposed to be the happiest time of their lives with hopes of starting their family. Instead, Ash is 100% disabled and requires 24/7 around the clock care and assistance with simple daily tasks that most people take for granted. This accident not only robbed them of their ability to have a child, but Ash completely lost her career. They are saddled with enormous debt and Renee is now the sole provider for their household. Anyone who’s ever been in Renee’s company knows her genuine heart and faith in Jesus. She is a bright beaming beacon of light and love.
Renee and Ash are always the first people to aid anyone in need. I’d like to show them that there is LIGHT out of this dark tunnel. Now that they are the ones in need, please help me show them that that same light is also there for them!!!
Renee is a very hardworking vet tech. Yet, she and Ash still find time to rescue and love various animals in need. They don’t think twice, they simply open up their hearts and their home to those in need. Now they are the ones in need. They require financial assistance to prevent them from losing anything left. Ash has applied for NJ Permanent Disability benefits, but unfortunately the application process takes at least 6 months and they are struggling with the surmounting debt.
We understand that not everyone will be able to donate, but please share this link. Thank you for taking the time to read and share.
