Dearest family and friends,

We’re reaching out once again because we truly need your help. I never imagined things could get this difficult, but right now they are.

First, we want to sincerely thank everyone who has already supported us—your kindness has meant so much. I’ve been actively searching for work, sending out countless applications and following up daily, but so far I haven’t had any luck.

Our situation is becoming urgent. We have to move out of our current home by October 20th, and my unemployment benefits barely cover the basics. We just received a 10-day shut-off notice from PECO, a Verizon shut-off notice for September 19th, and our September car payment is due. We had believed our electric bill was being fully covered with the help we’d received, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.

I’m holding onto hope that a job will come through soon, but until then, we’re struggling to stay afloat. Every little bit of help—whether it’s a donation, a share of this post, or even a kind comment—makes a huge difference and means the world to us.
