Sponsored walk- raising money for The golden day club

Our S5 Health Sector class at Castle Douglas High School are raising money for ‘The Golden day club’. We have chosen this charity as we know elderly people become very isolated when living at home. The money we raise would go towards musical equipment to fit the needs of elderly people in this club. Music brings joy and happiness to the older generation. The walk we have decided to do is Balcary point, the walk is an hour and 45 minutes. We will also be painting stones with the centre to create a well-being walk on the trail for all to enjoy.
