Nala's Brain Surgery

Hello,

My name is Jasmine. I am a wife 
to a wonderful husband named
Jason and the mother of two beautiful girls named Nova (2 years of age) and Nala (11 months).

When Nala was born, she was 
diagnosed with Lissencephaly.


Lissencephaly causes her to 
suffer a form of brain damaging 
seizures called Infantile Spasms, 
along with a few other types of 
seizures to say the least.

This coming Tuesday October 
26th 2021, Nala is having a 
Corpus Callosotomy (split brain
surgery).  This procedure will be 
done with the hopes of stopping or minimizing her seizures. 

We have hit a wall with 
medication at this point. Despite numerous medications her
seizures continue to return. Surgery is our only option at this point . 

We hope that this procedure will 
improve and prolong  her quality 
of life.


Between trying to balance our 
daughter's medical bills, as well as her up coming surgery and the
cost associated with it,

recovery and progress, post-surgery.
