Please help our Dad, Jimmy Bruno

Family & Friends,
After a couple of direct messages and phone calls from close friends, we decided to post a gofundme for our dad. If you know him, you love him. He is a wonderful person who has been dealt an interesting deck of card but never gives up. He took that same attitude and applied it to the great city of Asbury Park as a Deputy Mayor, Board of Ed President, Community Leader, and a Fire Official. He devoted his life to the betterment of the city and we are asking for help to better his life. Our dad has battled multiple sclerosis for the majority of his life. It has not been easy, but he has taught us how to fight hard.
His van died earlier this week, it lasted a lot longer than it was expected to but it restricted him. He was home bound for a while other than close doctor appointments in fear it would not make it, which caused him to miss various events.
It would mean a lot to us if you could donate whatever you can to help us purchase him a reliable, used van with a side ramp and hand controls. These vans are not covered by health insurance and are extremely costly. Not having a reliable mode of transportation puts a restriction on his independence which alters his quality of life.
100% of all funds will go to the betterment of our dads life. We thank you so much in advance in support of our dad. We feel very blessed to live in a community like ours.
Love, Gia & Christy
