The Varga Family

Hello, Our dear friend Zoltan Varga had a massive stroke on Christmas Day, 2021, we're still in disbelief and our hearts are aching for this family. He is the rock of their family and has touched so many with his infectious personality, when Zoli was around you, there was always laughter and funny jokes, his loud voice could be heard for miles when he shouted your name or did his famous "call". This story is so tragic and devastating for his family and friends. He is currently at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Neuroscience awaiting acute care rehab at Bryn Mawr. Thank God they were able to remove his clot, but due to swelling they ultimately had to remove half of his skull. He will be this way for 3-4 months, has a tracheotomy connected to a ventilator, battles fevers daily, feeding tube, and has paralysis on his entire left side, right hand and foot move upon commands, hasn't opened his eyes, has had every tube imaginable hooked up to him. We're all so thankful he is still with us and we know he's fighting for his life. The expenses are already adding up and his journey will be long and stressful. Everyone has been asking how they can help, where to send gift cards, money, food, etc...I've known this family all of my life and this is the least I can do for them.
