Louie came home one day feeling fatigued with body aches.  What we thought was a cold turned out to be a life-threatening Addisonian crisis due to an infection in his urinary tract and prostate.  Louie was immediately flown to Trinity in Minot where it was discovered his body was destroying his blood cells putting him at great risk for uncontrolled bleeding. 
As if that wasn't bad enough, it was discovered that Louie had a grossly enlarged spleen, requiring immediate surgery.
