S.T.E.M. Camp! This June!

Melissa Piton is organizing this fundraiser.
You guys!! Maya was nominated by her teacher to participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum(NYLF): Pathways to STEM- a program to be held at Occidental College in LA in June 2023!
She will join other students from around the region in intensive, engaging, hands in workshops focused on five skills that are essential for success: emotional awareness, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and goal setting! She will get to explore three STEM pathways: medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation!
Maya was nominated because of her maturity, determination, work ethic, and strength of character to make the most of this opportunity! And it is just that, an AMAZING opportunity, that she was literally hand selected for!
As a mother I am extremely proud of her and I want nothing more than for her to be able to go! This is a week long camp and she will be staying in the dorms! This does cost quite a bit and honestly, on my own I don't have the spare change lying around.. lol So ANY bit of help I can get would be SO SO SO appreciated! I am going to do whatever it takes to get her there!
