Hi,
To start... it is very uncomfortable for myself and my family to be asking for help here but we have been told that in order to get your needs met you have to ask for help sometimes...
So here I go...
Our 10 year old son, Sebastian, had a stroke in Utero and as a result ended up with the diagnosis of Cererbal Pasly and Epilepsy.
From birth our neurologist informed us he would "most likely" never walk or talk due to the amount of brain damage and location of the damage.
Fast forward to today, and many hours of therapy, love and support, Sebatian both walks and talks! We still see the same neurologist that gave us that bleak outlook of, Sebastian's future and he now says he will never tell another family this type of information due to Sebastian!
So, yes, we are blessed with a child with Cerbral Palsy that can walk and for the most part communicate with the world!
On the other end, we have little boy who is able to walk and talk but has the mental intelligence of a 3-5 yr old, and suffers from bi-weekly grand mal seizures at this point.
That's where this Gofundme pled comes in...
It has been highly recommended to our family to get, Sebastian, a service/seizure dog to help him and us with safety concerns and companionship for a boy struggling to find a place in this world.
In recent months, Sebastian's, behavior has taken a turn for the worst and we have decided to home school him with the help of the hospital homebound program. This allows us to get medical testing done and figure out exactly what is going on to help him.
Upon researching owning a service/seizure dog we are running a few problems.... free agencies being extremely backed up with demand and having to wait 3-5 yrs, and if we purchase one and train it the cost is extremely high do to extensive training needed... We are looking for help here. Due to allergies in the home and recommendations of a good choice for our family we are considering a "golden or lab- doodle". We would love to purchase a puppy from a breeder and bring a trainer in to assist us from the start with the process.
Sebastian has a fear of larger dogs so we have been told a puppy is a must to break that as well...
So sorry for my book... We are FULLY aware that we are NOT the only ones in need in the world or with a special needs child, so please if you can not or decide not to help us, we completely understand.

Hi all,
I am looking for recommendations on 1st an amazing breeder of Goldendoodles or Labradoodles. And then also a local trainer that would be able to help train a puppy for seizures and to be a service dog for my 10 year old son with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.
He just had another seizure last night and I would really like to make this happen for him sooner than later!
