Supporting 12 Orphaned Girls Who Touched Our Hearts

During a recent visit, Sheikh Jerad had the honor of meeting 12 orphaned Shia girls whose strength, resilience, and innocence deeply touched his heart. Despite the hardships they have faced at such a young age, these girls welcomed him with warmth, smiles, and unwavering faith.

Witnessing their daily lives and needs was a powerful reminder of our responsibility toward orphans in our community. The Prophet Muhammad and his family (peace be upon him) emphasized the immense reward of caring for orphans, saying:

“I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like these two,”

and he held his index and middle fingers together.

Inspired by this visit and by the teachings of our faith, this GoFundMe has been created to provide direct support for these 12 girls and more. Funds raised will go toward their essential needs, including food, clothing, education, healthcare, and overall well-being, helping to give them stability, dignity, and hope for the future.

These girls have already given us something priceless by reminding us of compassion, mercy, and human connection. Now we have the opportunity to stand beside them and be a source of support in their lives.
