My name is Coky Espinal (P2P Basketball) and I am fortunate to have started this league to help and mentor our youth. I have been described by many as a passionate and humble person that does whatever it takes to help others. You can see by the smile that is always on my face that I take nothing for granted and realize how fortunate I am to have been blessed by God with both the skills and the opportunity to start this wonderful program.
It is said that “to those whom much has been given, much is expected”. And so, I feel compelled to use that which I have been given- a stage (and hopefully someday the financial means) to make a huge difference in the lives of others- and I am asking you to join me to #ShareTheBlessing with others that are not as fortunate financially to pay for their children’s fees.
I grew up in New York City and been here in Salem Mass where the love of basketball is only matched by the love of God, family, and community. Unfortunately, this community has limited financial resources that do not match the talent of the players so hence the reason I’m starting this fund.
It is my goal to provide uniforms, supplies and one day to start a AAU team so that the young kids in and around my city and surrounding cities can pursue their dreams. The goal of this GoFundMe is to create and sustain a campaign that generates donations to fund the purchase of
•Basket Balls, Uniforms, Referee Fees
•Set up a Developmental Program to bring the best coaches, training and players together
•Spotlight Talent from all over Massachusetts for the world to see
•set up a scholarship fund to sponsor two talented basketball players to study and play basketball in USA and any country in the world in every year.
I hope that you will stand #ShoulderToShoulder with me so that we can make a difference and #ShareTheBlessing with those that are less fortunate
