I recently purchased a Ford F-350 through a private sale on Craigslist. The truck appeared to be in working condition, and I drove it home after the purchase. Unfortunately, shortly after getting it home, the engine completely blew.

Because this was a private sale, I don’t have any warranty or protection, and I’m now facing a major repair bill that I wasn’t prepared for. This truck is extremely important to me for work and daily transportation, and without it, I’m struggling to keep up financially.
