Please help my mom Sonia Matthews

On April 2, my mom Sonia Matthews lost most of her belongings in an apartment fire. She was in the process of moving and was able to get her heavy items out(couch, beds and dresser). When she went back to the apartment to get the rest of her belongings the build was gone.

My mom is an independent film maker and works two jobs to afford her equipment. She was collecting items for the set of her pilot that she was going to shoot in the fall. She lost it all including her work computer and her editing computer. She lost drives, scripts and footage from two documentaries that she was working on.

She also lost two family pets. A cat, Moe and her sons pet gecko.

She offered discounted photography and videographer services to help raise money for her her projects but she did more free work than she earned because she loves to help people.
