For those who know him Sean Woods is a vibrant young man who always lights up every room he enters with that beautiful smile and personality. Sean is the second born of four children and prides himself on being good big brother and example to his two younger sisters.

Per the news reports Sean was airlifted to the hospital on April 14th after what was called a serious  "traumatic injury" at a Mulch company. He suffered an amputation of his left arm after it became entangled in machinery at the site. When crews arrived, he was in critical condition. At this moment, he is still hospitalized.

Sean was working at the Mulch company temporarily with his step father while awaiting the grand opening of the vegan restaurant Roots PBC (Plant Based Cuisine) where he would be the manager. Sean was uninsured at the time of the accident and will continue to have medical costs for some time with the need of a prosthetic arm and rehabilitation.

Sean Woods is an energetic young man who has a passion for singing , rapping , dancing and being involved in the Indian culture in New Orleans. Not only that he’s a favorite of other old school and old time veterans who have gotten to know him since his first year of becoming a Mardi Gras Indian. For example Big Chief Derek of the Golden Blades, Yeddie, Malikk Carter of the Black Flame Hunters, and others. Once the realization set in that he lost his arm these are the people he immediately thought about, his mom and immediate family which includes his Indian family.
