My Brother Jeff and his wife Karin welcomed their 5th son into the world on March 2nd 2015.  He was born on his mom’s birthday and they were excited to finally meet their baby boy.  The name they gave him is Benjamin Donald Maughan.  He was 7lbs. 5oz. and 21 inches long.  Unfortunately Baby Ben was born not breathing and had to be initiated and transported to the NICU at another hospital.  Karin was having some complications herself and had to stay at the hospital where she delivered.  Through tests and scans it was determined that Ben had gone without oxygen during labor and had severe brain damage and other complications.  On March 15th baby Ben passed away in the loving arms of his parents.  His 4 older brothers and parents will miss him in this life dearly but know they will be reunited again. 

My brother has been unable to work during this time and money is tight.  Every little bit helps.  Thank you for taking the time to read their story.
