Hello my name is Hector Moreno. When you are homeless,  school becomes  a safe haven. I always  go to  school every single day because it means that I have a meal ,somewhere to go and  somewhere to distract myself. Since I want to be an engineer, I have always dreamt of going to Washington D.C and New York City to observe the great feats of American engineering and this school trip will provide me that opportunity .  I know this will  demand greatness from myself, and anything less than that, is unacceptable. I don’t have to worry about whether I live up to the standards of my peers because I am already striving to live up to my own standards.     I believe life is a learning experience and we all have certain personal strengths and weaknesses. Knowing what we are good at and what we are weak in can help us to become better people. Recognizing weaknesses along with having the desire to improve on them is a skill that I have. For me, recognizing personal strengths and weaknesses is key to being a successful person. Life has been hard but then again I have always been a fighter.
