Lilah's Semester Abroad

Hello! My name is Lilah August, and I'm a high school sophomore at Oakland School for the Arts. During the fall semester of my junior year, I hope to be studying abroad in Ireland, and I need your help to do so.   While abroad, I will stay with a host family, and attend a local high school, where the focus of my studies will be on theology and Irish literature.   Every donated dollar will go directly toward the cost of the program including five months of room and board with my host family, tuition and supplies, transportation and insurance.

I have a passion for travel, and a deep desire to immerse myself in a different culture. I consider myself to be a very curious person, and I see this as a great opportunity to engage my curiosity in a way that will change my life and deepen my understanding of the world.

I've already applied for, and been accepted to the program, now all I need is you to help me get there! If you help me reach my goal, I promise to utilize this unique opportunity to the very best of my ability.
