Hey everyone. Savannah’s 2 year old Australian cattle dog Ozzy has been experience stomach complications for the past two days. Yesterday evening 2/27 I had to take him to the emergency vet room since he was extremely lethargic, unable to walk, and could not keep food or water down for the past two days. Last night at the ER the vet gave Ozzy a 24-hour anti-nausea injection which is a very strong medication to prevent vomiting, an IV, and a blood test. The blood test showed high red and white blood counts, and suggested inflammation of the abdomen. The ER suggested an X-ray but the cost being so high we decided to wait and see if the anti nausea injection and IV helped. The vet instructed to come back in the morning if he continued to not keep food or water down with the next 24 hours. Unfortunately this morning Ozzy continued to be unable to keep his water down, and his health continued to decline with no indication that’s the IV and medication was helping. We rushed him back to the Vet this morning and the vet put him on morphine gave him another IV, and after feeling his abdomen decided the next step was an X-ray. The X-ray showed that he has a soft tissue abrasion and obstruction and will need to get emergency surgery. Things are coming more financially scary for Savannah and now it’s our time as a community to give back to her for all the support and love she has shown us. If you know anything about Savannah Ozzy is her everything and she would do absolutely anything for this dog. Ozzy deserves to live a long healthy life along Savvanah’s side (btw they are the cutest and most inseparable pair) But yeah seriously guys anything you can donate to help relieve some stress for Savannah would be amazing. Anything will help during this crazy and the last thing I want is Savvanah to feel like she can’t financially do everything she can to make sure he’s okay ❤️❤️ Thank you again and we will keep you all updated. He’s scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning.
