.    This fundraiser is for Aiden Farrell to get an Autism Service Dog. Aiden will be 4 yrs. old in July. Aiden is a sweet boy dealing with Autism. He was a happy baby and very lovable. He has always been nonverbal but with hours of daily therapy, he has reached a place where he can say our names and repeat words that we tell him.
      Aidens lack of communication often frustrates him and leads to meltdowns. Aiden has to be watched very closely as he tries to run off every chance he gets. All doors have to be locked where Aiden can't reach them.
     A service dog for Aiden would actually calm him down when his meltdowns are inevitable. Last summer was scary for us, as like other kids he loves to play outside. Our yard is fenced in but he has still managed to sneak out of the house/yard to explore on his own. Also places like the beach and playgrounds are so hard because he doesn't stay in the area and doesn't respond when his name is called. Aiden has no fear of busy streets, water, etc... a service dog would keep Aiden close and alert us to Aidens wandering, also in the event he would run off, his dog would have the ability to track and find him.
     We've been researching service dogs for the last year and this would be the answer to Aiden having a happy and safe childhood. We are going with Dogwish, Inc. Dogwish has been amazing through this process and they produce amazing quality service dogs. Please help us reach our goal.
