
The Ozanne Foundation Appeal
Help us to protect LGBT+ people from harm in religious settings and bring an end to harmful conversion practices.
The Foundation has set up various projects, including the UK Ban Conversion Therapy Coalition, which Jayne chairs, bringing together dozens of organisations that wish to campaign for a fully inclusive ban on harmful conversion practices.
In 2020 the Foundation launched the Global Interfaith Commission on LGBT+ Lives, which brought hundreds of senior religious leaders around the world together to sign the 'Declaration of the Sanctity of Life and the Dignity of All' - the first signatory was Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu. It has since been signed by thousands of others:
In 2022 the GIC+ brought 150 faith leaders together at a conference in the Locarno Suite of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to agree Six Principles to Safeguard LGBT+ Lives:
