Awareness in Honor of Craig

Donation protected

On January 5th, 2015 at about 10:50pm, I received the most devastating news of my life-- that my best friend since kindergarten, Craig Turner, had suddenly passed away. I was in utter shock and could not comprehend the news that I was faced with.

I was orginally told that it was a heart attack that took my friend, but later found out that it was a very rare form of brain tumor that occurs in people between the ages of 10 and 30, which was pushing against his brain stem.

Since kindergaten orientation, I knew Craig was a special individual. He truly taught me the meaning of a "best friend" and his unique and philanthropic attitude will stick with me forever. I witnessed Craig help so many people throughout his 19 years and I'm sure many of you reading this have been personally touched by him. I can proudly say that Craig is my role model and I try to abide by his morals every day.

Everyone that crossed paths with Craig was so lucky to meet him. Not one person had a bad word to say about Craig and he was by far the most outgoing, kind, and amazing person that I have ever met. There are just not enough positive words to describe him. Craig was also an organ donor as well as the owner of his rescued dog, Blue.

It is my hope that this page and incoming funds will be able to assist with brain tumor research as well as raise awareness regarding this awful occurence in many people's lives.

Please feel free to donate and/or share this page with whomever you may know. All proceeds will be going to the American Brain Tumor Association.

Thank you for your support.
