Ozzy's Surgery
Donation protected
Last night around midnight, something seemed off with our sweet boy Oz. He was hunched over, meowing in pain when we tried to touch him, and could not use the bathroom. We rushed him to the emergency vet downtown, and they informed us that his urethra was blocked and he needed surgery to resolve it. His procedure went well, and he is now being monitored for 72 hours to ensure no other issues arise and he heals properly. The Veterinarian said that if we didn't bring him in when we did, we might have lost our sweet boy.
Unfortunately, this surgery comes with a very high price tag ($6k), and we would appreciate anything you can give to help us. Madelyn and I are not the type to ask for help, and with our switches into new careers and Madelyn's schooling, your support (if you can, no matter how small) would mean the world to us. No one should have to put a price tag on their pet's life, especially when they've still got so many years ahead of them.
Anyone who know us knows how much our pets mean to us. I, pretending to be more of a dog person for years, had Oz come into my life and completely change that. It is our nightly routine that when the lights go off, he makes his entrance to curl up by my chest and demand his tummy scratches. We're hoping for 10+ more years of nightime tummy scratches with Oz, AKA Ozzy Boy, AKA Professor Toe Beans, AKA General Whiskers, AKA Big Man. <3

Words could not adequately express how grateful Madelyn and I would be for your help (and prayers). No amount is too big and no amount is too small. All our love and thank you! <3
