For anyone who knows my brother Jim Gossen, the oldest of seven children, knows his love of seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, especially oysters. To eat vicariously through him and support the Gulf Seafood Foundation a contest is born.
For a donation of $100 through GoFundMe, you can guess the number of oysters Jim will eat for the entire year of 2017. Half of the proceeds will go to the Gulf Seafood Foundation, leaving the other to the half to the winner (see links below).
When making your donation under the comments section, put the number of oysters you predict Jim to eat in 2017. The deadline to participate is February 1st. After that date Jim will be posting photographs, along with a running tally of oysters he has consumed.
