Help me to keep my child

It began long time ago, as it’s called domestic violence that I did not realize that I was getting from my husband for many years. The reason why it took me so long to find out because I was abused more mentally. I’m from Fukushima  Japan and my english is not perfect so I totally trusted my husband and dedicated to him until one day ended up being isolated near the lake with our son, with no internet access, no phone, no car. At this point, finally I felt this is not right.

To me, divorcing wasn’t my option because our son. I tried to fix our relationship many times even after I
started noticing I was abused. But things became worse and worse and finally, I had to leave him right away with my 5 years old son. That was 3.5 years ago. Then my husband filed for divorce with 100% custody on our son and money.

I've been kept going to the family court and to fight back to keep my son but still nothing moving forward because my husband kept violating TPO, violating court orders, and changing attorneys or extending the trial days. Also, he’s been harassing me all the time. He reported me to CPS and police for child abuse 10 times, every time they found nothing was wrong so cases were closed. He took our son to the ER 60 TIMES in this 3.5 years. He said because our son had cough or running nose.

I'm very concerned about our son. I want to help him but he has to go back and force between me and his father every week. I've been trying to spend time with him as much as I can to make sure that his mental health remains good. For now he seems he is ok but I'm not. I don’t have a full time job. I’m a teacher at a Japanese Saturday school. I’m a live in caregiver for now but the person will move to her son’s house so I need to find a place to live again. I have very hard time going through with this divorce because the cost of attorney.

My son and I have not seen my family in japan for 6 years now. The judge is holding our passports because he claimed I may be kidnaping our son. This guy is trying to take my son away from me forever!  To prove to the judge I'm a very good mother. For 3.5 years of crazy things the guy was doing to my son and me, my attorney has to get ready so much stuff for a next trial. I'm doing everything what I can for my son but I need help financially.

I don't have my family here. I'm fighting all this by myself for my only family in U.S.  I sometimes feel I can't take this anymore and want to give up but I do not want to.

Please help me to keep my son.
