ObituaryJames “Jamie” Vincent SinagraOctober 13, 1968-March 12, 2015“The unexamined life is not worth living”Son of the late Nancy Souza Sinagra Johansen and James Vincent “Lucky” Sinagra, Jamie passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2015.Jaime was most proud of his children and spent every minute of the day thinking about Sophia, Madeline, and Luke.  Guitar god, lyrical master, life coach, social worker, sage and philosopher; Jaime touched so many with his bright, upbeat personality, infectious sense of humor, unparalleled intelligence, and gentle soul.  When you were around Jaime, he made you feel like the most important person in the world.Jaime was born and raised in Gloucester and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1986.  He spent his high school years working with Dan Leaman Landscaping.  Jaime made many lifelong friends in Gloucester and visited frequently (Earl Seagal, Jim and Gina Barrett, Becky Simpson and Vermin Surpreme).  Jaime went on to Bradford College where he bloomed socially and intellectually, he formed cherished relationships with many friends and bandmates; Love Story (Simon Jacobsen, Mark Lovely, David Morzella, Matt Johnson) and The Presence of Grace.   He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1990.  During the first few years out of college, Jaime worked for the Attorney General’s Office as a Complaint Mediator and Senior Investigator.  He then went back to school at Salem State and received his Master’s degree in Social Work.   Jaime became an exceptional therapist and clinician who helped many people. Jaime is survived by his former wife, Kristen Dady, and his children Sophia, Madeline, and Luke.  His life-long friend and former wife, Hadley Hudson.  His sister, Jill Sinagra Moore, husband, Mike Moore, and sons; Maxwell, Mason, Tyler, and Jacob.  His brother, Adam Smith, and his son Riley.  His aunt, Jacquelyn Lovasco, and the late Gilligan Lovasco, and cousins Haley, husband, Ian Allison and Jeremy.  His aunt, Candace Unis, husband, Eddie, and cousins Renee Fronterio, Mark, and April, and children, Shane and Akyra.  His aunt, Lisbee Buckles,  and the late Joe Souza Jr., and cousin Courtney Souza and wife Michelle Urban and their daughters; Ella and Layla, and many cousins, extended family, and countless friends.The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.  Donation can be sent to Jill Sinagra Moore, 40 Albion Road, Windham, Maine 04062.MemorialA “Celebration of Life” will be taken place on March 22, 2015.  It will be held at the Gloucester Elks located at 101 Atlantic Road, Gloucester, Massachusetts from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.  Direction can be found at:  http://www.elksatbassrocks.com/directions.html.  The family request that guest dress casually (metal shirts welcome).

Son of the late Nancy Souza Sinagra Johansen and James Vincent “Lucky” Sinagra, Jamie passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2015.

Jaime was most proud of his children and spent every minute of the day thinking about Sophia, Madeline, and Luke.  Guitar god, lyrical master, life coach, social worker, sage and philosopher; Jaime touched so many with his bright, upbeat personality, infectious sense of humor, unparalleled intelligence, and gentle soul.  When you were around Jaime, he made you feel like the most important person in the world.
