My mom has frontotemporal dementia

Donation protected
My mom has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. A fatal disease that's devistatingly kicking our butts. My mom was a smart, beautiful, independent and strong woman. This disease stripped all of that from her. She lost her job, her memory and behavior skills have suffered greatly. We all thought it was just a psychiatric issue and so did many other doctors. She had to be hospitalized two different times to mental health facilities and at the last one they did a brain scan and found the atrophy of the frontal lobe. I was crushed hearing my mother had a fatal disease with no cure and no treatment. It's sad to admit Id rather it been a tumor or a mental break that could be treated or fixed. I never got to say goodbye to my mom, that person that loved me and laughed with me had been gone Along time. I was even mad at her before I realized something was wrong with her. I thought she was just attention starved or having a mid life crisis/ or maybe a nervous breakdown. Her legs move and shake non stop now, she can't name more than 4 animals in a minutes time. She doesn't understand what certain words are.. She will eventually lose the ability to walk, talk, swallow... Her frontal lobe is dying and so will she with it. She doesn't have a husband to lovingly care for her and finically help her. She need 24/7 care yet we can't afford it. We are having trouble even getting her on disability, so the family is hurting bad trying to cover her medical expenses. We are still having to come up with money to pay her bills such as her house she lived in before ( we hope to rent it out) and her credit cards that we had no clue she was racking up to over 20,000 ( she had a man in her life that never help with one single bill and knew something was wrong and didn't tell us but instead kept her from us and took out a life insurance policy over 200,000 on her) . We are now facing the understanding that she may have to be put in a home/facility eventually for full medical care and supervision we can't provide once it gets too bad for her function which is already going down hill quickly. And knowing we need to also consider the horrific truth of funeral cost Bc it's inevitable.

I'm hoping you can see it in your hearts to put yourself in my shoes.
My mom is 54 and will probably not make it to 60... What if your parent came down with this and you had no means to help her. My family is in dire need of means to help my mother! Please know any little bit is appreciated.
