Covid-19 spreading rapidly in Sri Lanka. Hospitals in Sri Lanka desperately need the Airvo 2 Humidified Nasal High Flow Systems to prevent patients dying from serve hypoxic respiratory failures. This project is planning to buy at least nine units, each cost $7,920. We need your help as these units will save thousands of lives.
Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll surpassed the 900-mark today (May 14) as 29 more victims were confirmed by the Director-General of Health Services. This is reportedly the highest-ever coronavirus deaths Sri Lanka has posted in a single day since the outbreak of the pandemic last year.
The country is at a difficult juncture. People are living with a fear of this dreadful virus. A pregnant woman infected with SARS-CoV-2 has fallen victim to the virus infection after delivering her baby at the Teaching Hospital in Kurunegala on Friday (May 14). Doctors have managed to save her baby. This is one of the many sad stories that we have heard from Sri Lanka.
We need your help. Please, please help.

On behalf of Melbourne United Art Circle, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to you all for your generous donations. The money has already used to buy two Airvo 2 High Flow Systems, each cost about Rs 1,350,000. It is a great achievement for all Sri Lankans living in Australia and other countries.
As you all know, the Covid-19 is spreading rapidly, infecting at least 3000 people and over 100 deaths per day.
The country is at a problematic juncture economically and socially. People are living with a fear of this dreadful virus, and they are confused.
Hospitals in Sri Lanka desperately need the Airvo 2 Humidified Nasal High Flow Systems to prevent patients dying from hypoxic respiratory failures. Airvo 2 is a highly recommended Unit that saves the lives of Covid-19 patients.
The Melbourne United Art Circle Australia has launched the PRRANA SAVIYA (Give Strength to the Life) Project in Melbourne on 21 May 2021 at Clayton Hall. We have received overwhelming support from Melbournians. While Melbourne is on lockdown, we are happy to say that we have raised funds to purchased two Airvo 2 Units within seven days. Thanks to you and the Sri Lankan community, these units will be delivered to the neediest hospitals in Sri Lanka within the next two weeks.
We believe that we have fulfilled our responsibility towards our mother Lanka, during her difficult times.
Please note that we are still in the process of raising funds to buy the 3rd Airvo 2 unit and please, please help.
Please note that we will publish the budget for the project at the end of this project as we believe transparency is paramount.
Thanking you again
Yours Sincerely
