Oxygen for India - Let's do this together!
Dear ones,
As you all know our beloved India is going through a medical crisis of unprecedented proportions. Hospitals have run out of beds, oxygen, oxygen delivery equipment and other supplies.
We hope to send a minimum of 100 oxygen concentrators each to six major cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Bangalore and Kolkata in the next week. We are working with medical friends in the NRI community from each of these cities to deliver these oxygen concentrators to our government funded medical colleges and hospitals.
The Indian Embassy is helping us with custom clearance and freight charges.
Each medical grade concentrator costs approximately $500. There is an urgency to this mission as we all know.
At this time we ask that you please donate generously to a place that we all love dearly. We thank you in anticipation for your donation. What you will receive in return will no doubt be many fold more.

About us:
Dr. Shubha Varma - Dr. Shubha Varma is a practicing vascular surgeon in Hackensack New Jersey. Devastated by the state of affairs in her beloved India, she started the Oxygen to India Campaign. From a place of helpless hopelessness at the devastation of loved lives lost, arose the strength and a burning desire to do everything possible in the service of her suffering brothers and sisters.
She started this effort and is spearheading this campaign, and subsequently mobilised a significant network of the Indian diaspora all over the world to make sure that there is no dearth of available oxygen delivery systems in inner city hospitals as well as other charitable government hospitals all over India. Her mission is to make health care as available to the general public in India, as it is to India’s rich.
Dr Jas Katariya - An Alum of Maulana Azad Medical College , Delhi University and currently a practicing Anesthesiologist with the University of Miami. After training In the US, relocated back to India for 7 years. Instrumental in conception, building and initial running of Artemis Hospital in Gurgaon, in 2007.
Dr. Ruchika Talwar - Ruchika Talwar, MD is a rising urologic surgery chief resident at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a career in urologic oncology and health policy. She has several national positions within the American Medical Association and American Urological Association, and makes several trips a year to DC in pursuit of health equity and quality.
Alok Jha is the Director & Head of Digital Capabilities at McKinsey & Co in New York where he has worked for 21 years and has held several leadership positions. Prior to joining McKinsey, Alok was a journalist and worked with Dow Jones & Co. He has written for several publications including The Wall Street Journal, Harvard University International Journal of Press & Politics, Barron’s, Smart Money, The Times of India, The Economic Times and more. Alok earned his Master’s degrees from Columbia University, New York, and St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
Archana Gollamudi resides in Livingston, NJ, and is actively involved in various community service initiatives.
