Dear family and Friends,

My uncle George is a Vietnam veteran with honorable discharge.  He lives in Placencia Belize and is my father's brother. Uncle George will always greet you with a warm smile, a big hug and throw down in the kitchen to make the most amazing meal you’ve ever had! He has a big heart and he really needs us now.

Unfortunately, George is not doing well. He is suffering from intense COPD. He spent a few days in the hospital here in Belize City. It is his third hospital stay in the past few months.

He now needs to live with an oxygen machine (automaking oxygen). Just to rent the Oxygen tank cost $90bzd a day in addition to the rental of the machine. It will be more finacially viable to purchase a portable machine that he can take anywhere. 

I have done my research and to buy a new portable oxygen machine is around $2000 USD, we will also need money for shipping which is why I have set the fundraising goal for $2700 US. The Forman clan is large and if we all chip in a little bit, I believe we can raise this money in a short period of time and get uncle George this life-saving machine by the end of the week! Let’s band together as a family, the way we always do and help with whatever amount you can, even a small amount gets us closer to our goal.
