Dear friends

As we face the second wave of covid 19 which has hit hard in Karnataka, I wish to bring to your kind attention about the scarcity of oxygen in Chikmagalur, a life saver for Covid patients. 

While we are working to get an oxygen plat to support the long term need, to address the immediate need we are trying to procure 10 oxygen concentrators and 100 finger probe pulse oximeters (Order is already placed for 3 of the 10 concentrators by the organizers)

We need your help to raise money for procuring the oxygen concentrators to support Covid patients in our community.  

Here's my plan: 

Make concentrators available to patients on a returnable basis. This will reduce the demand for oxygen beds in hospital. People with low oxygen requirement can easily be treated at home itself with these concentrators.

These concentrators would be recirculated for use by needy patients. 

Pulse oximeters will help to monitor at home itself with the help of telemedicine.
