Oxgrow Is Growing Food For Those In Need

OxGrow  is a volunteer led community organisation dedicated to increasing local knowledge about food-growing and the natural environment.

Since January 2011 we have been transforming two unloved tennis courts right in the heart of Oxford into a thriving food garden.


Now in the midst of the current national crisis our goals are more important than ever. We have the ability to grow and distribute fresh organic produce to local charitable organisations and we're hoping to step up to the challenge.


We've already started distributing plants, seeds, food and herbs to the community, but our main harvests will produce a significant amount of food that could be transformative for vulnerable people unable to shop or access online deliveries.



We are raising funds to buy extra seeds, potting soil and replacement tools for the garden. With this we will be able to plant more produce, harvest it and get it to those in need. The growing season is upon us and time is of the essence to make the greatest impact we can.
